Features and Facts
Supima, So Good
Supima cotton is an extra long staple cotton with average lengths of 1.5" that creates fabrics with supreme softness, amazing durability and good colour retention. Its so special that it represents only 1% of the worlds cotton production and is exclusively grown in states in the west and southwest of America by farmers within the Supima Organisation. Supima cotton is trademarked, and the only way you can be sure you're getting genuine Supima cotton is to look for the Supima logo.
Supima cotton has a history spanning over a century. A particularly strong and soft extra long staple cotton was discovered at the start of the last century and named Pima in honour of the Pima Indians. Pima was renamed Supima, combining the cottons name with 'Superior' when the farming groups created the Supima Orgnaisation to identify American grown Pima cotton.
The extra long staple lengths of the Supima cotton used to make this bedlinen have been spun into super fine plied yarns before being woven into a rich 1000 threadcount fabric. The fabric has been finished with a special enzyme wash for even more softness. This beautiful bedlinen has impressive green credentials too. Over 70% of the energy used to manufacture this bedding is renewable and over 99% of the water used in the production process is recycled.
We rigorously test our bed linen to make sure it has what it takes to supercharge your sleep. We pay particular attention to colour fastness, longevity and washability.

The densely woven, premium fabric looks as good as you'd expect it to - a pleasingly weighty drape and understated lustre tell you this is a bedlinen of incredible quality.
This bedlinen range is finished with a border of self-coloured tape and mitred corners for a neat and polished finish. The duvet cover and Oxford pillow cases have 5cm borders. The fitted sheets are elasticated around the full edge of the sheet for a perfect fit.
The duvet covers are fastened with tie closures so you don't need to worry about ironing around fiddly buttons. Pillow cases have an envelope closure for a neat finish.
Keep your bed clean and fresh by changing and washing your bedlinen regularly. Once a week should do the trick. You can wash this bedlinen at 40°C, although we'd recommend you wash it at 30°C for a greener way to stay clean.
Do your bit for our planet and dry your bedlinen by hanging it to dry out of direct sunlight. It will dry best on an outside washing line. If time or space is tight, this bedlinen can also be tumble-dried. You'll have fewer creases to deal with if you remove your bedlinen from the drier while slightly damp and then hang it to air dry.
Always use the best detergent for the product you are washing. If you're washing white bedlinen we'd recommend powdered detergents. If you're washing coloured bedlinen, we'd recommend you use a washing gel/liquid or a detergent suitable for coloured fabrics.
They create an optical illusion that changes the appearance of the colour. It's not just detergents that can affect your bedlinen; some creams and facewashes contain chemicals that will bleach your bedlinen, such as benzoyl peroxide. Suncream and bronzers can also stain your bedsheets; having a shower before bed to remove skin products will help your bedlinen stay looking good for longer.
