Each duvet is individually handcrafted by Devon Duvets in the UK with nothing but certified British wool, direct from British farmers. The sheep are shorn in the traditional way (just like on Countryfile) in late spring and early summer when they're ready to ready to lose their heavy winter fleeces. Not only that, but the casings are made with ethically grown and sourced cotton fabric. These duvets are made without the use of bleach, glues, or artificial fibres - in short, these duvets are better for the environment, better for British farmers, and better for you.

Just Right...
There are two choices of warmths in this range. A lightweight duvet which is equivalent to 4-7 togs and is perfect for the summer or warmer homes. The medium-weight duvet is equivalent to 8-14 togs and well suited to chiller homes and winter months. You can link two different duvets together with ties to create a weightier, warmer duvet to see you through even the chilliest winter.

Comforting & Calming
This wool fill duvet is weightier than you might be used to. It's a reassuring feeling, similar to being tucked up iunder several blankets. Because of the way the wool fill is needled it has a flat profile, similar to an extra cosy bedspread. This means it drapes beautifully over your body for a restful night's sleep.

Get Fresh
Covered with a breathable and soft 260 thread count cotton case made with cotton from the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). The cotton isn't bleached, but instead has been dyed with responsibly sourced, sustainable dye. The wool in these duvets has been washed (known as scouring) in British mills, without the use of bleach or chemicals for a 100% natural duvet.

Made to Last
Each of these duvets has been individually handcrafted by skilled seamstresses. The white bleached outer casing and unbleached snuggly needled wool layers inside the duvets are expertly handcut before being quilted between the soft outer case. Each duvet is finished with a bound hem edge for durability.

1Protect your duvetUse a duvet protector to keep your beautiful new duvet in top condition.

2Pull back the coversKeep things healthy by pulling back your duvet to air your bed whilst you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner.

3Freshen things upBecause wool is naturally resistant to dust mites and the build-up of micro bacteria, it is a more hygienic filling than many others. We recommend regular airing (outside on a line if possible, otherwise over a clothes airer near an open window) as these helps keep the wool nice and fresh.

4Wash at 30°CRegular airing will mean your duvet doesn't need a regular wash. However, if it's ready for a more thorough clean then you can wash your wool duvet in a machine on a 30°C Wool cycle and only with a detergent that designed for using with wool. Store your duvet somewhere dry and away from dust. The bag your duvet came in is perfect for the job, or you could use one of our specially-made storage bags instead.

5Dry as a boneDry completely before use. The carded fill of this duvet is sewn in place but the smallest amount of moisture can damage the fill and cause the wool to clump. We recommend a gentle spin after washing to remove excess moisture before hanging your duvet to dry. Never tumble-dry your wool duvet.

6Go with the ProsA professional wash and dry is always best for large items; your duvet will love you for it. Never, ever dry clean your wool duvet.
