Temperature Regulating Bedding
Do climate control duvets work?
Temperature regulating bedding isn’t as scientific as it might sound. In most situations, it’s a case of using breathable natural fibres which help wick away moisture to keep you at a more comfortable temperature as you sleep. This means you feel cosy without overheating.
Wool is one of the best fibres for temperature regulation. It absorbs and releases moisture into the atmosphere as you sleep, helping create your very own micro-climate so you sleep comfortably all night long – even if you share a bed.
Which duvet will help me stay cool?
If a wool duvet isn’t right for you, then we also have duvets filled with silk, cotton and linen. Silk is naturally very cooling and has a luxurious drape that’s wonderful on a hot night. Cotton fill duvets are light and fresh feeling – more like a quilt than a duvet, making them ideal for warm weather. Linen fill duvets have a pleasing weight to them while the linen works to keep you cool in warm weather but helps you stay warm enough should the temperature drop in the night.
