Pull back the covers
Keep things healthy by pulling back your bedding to air your bed while you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner.

Wash regularly
Keep things clean and fresh by washing your bed runner. Use it in addition to a duvet or flat sheet and you should find that a wash every couple of months is enough. You can wash this bed runner at 40°C, although we'd recommend you wash it at 30°C for a greener way to stay clean. Use a large capacity machine or take your bed runner to be professionally cleaned. This bed runner can be professionally dry-cleaned.

Hang to dry
Do your bit for our planet and dry your bed runner by hanging it to dry. It will dry best on an outside washing line away from direct sunlight. Line drying isn't only good for your bed runner, it's good for our planet too. You can however dry this bed runner in a tumble drier on a low heat if you prefer.

Iron if you like
Use a cool iron to gently remove creases from your bed runner.

Check your detergent
Always use the best detergent for the product you are washing. If you're washing whites, we'd recommend powdered detergents. If you're washing coloured fabrics, we'd recommend you use a washing gel/liquid or a detergent suitable for coloured fabrics.

Extra careful
Never use biological detergent, bleaches, stain removers or optical brighteners as they will damage the fabric and colour over time. It's not just detergents that can affect the fabric on your bed runner; some creams, sun creams and facewashes contain chemicals that will bleach your bed runner, such as benzoyl peroxide. Make up and bronzers can also stain your bed runner; having a shower before bed to remove skin products will help your bed runner stay looking good for longer.
