Hungarian Through & Through
This pillow is crafted by a family-run, manufacturer in Hungary, renowned for quality goose down with gloriously large clusters. Just scan the QR code on your pillow's label for more details about the manufacturer. What's more they take sustainability as seriously as their Goose Down, carrying both STeP and GRS accreditation for their manufacturing processes.
Pure & Simple
The Goose Down in this pillow is washed in thermal water from an exclusive, certified spring. The 48° water opens up the loft of the down clusters more than if washed in cold water, which is typical of most down. The resulting fill power of 600-650cbi assures you of good quality down clusters that will recover well when cared for correctly. Which means a fluffy, lofty pillow that will last you for many, many cheerful mornings to come.
Not to be Sneezed at
Contrary to popular belief, this pillow is a great choice for allergy sufferers. Because it's washed in naturally warm spring water, fewer chemicals are used. It is also considered super-clean or hypoallergenic due to excellent oxygen and turbidity ratings. What's more, this pillow is cased in NoMite certifed fabric, ideal for sleepers that suffer from a housedust mite allergy.
The top-notch filling in this pillow is made to Downpass and EDFA standards. Downpass is your guarantee of ethically sourced, traceable feather and down. It has gone through rigourous testing to make sure it has what it takes to supercharge your sleep. It's made and tested to EN standards with special focus on the fill quality and down content.
Feather and down pillows can have an odor when they first arrive in their packaging as it can become concentrated whilst in transit. Our packaging is breathable to help this and this pillow also meets our super-clean standard. This means that very low levels of the natural oil and fat that can cause odor are present on the fill. You shouldn't experience any odor with this pillow, unless you have a very sensitive sense of smell! If you do, air for a couple of days before use.
Keep things healthy by pulling back the covers to air your bed whilst you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner and is especially important with feather and down fills as moisture can make their natural odor more pronounced.
Protect your pillow and tumble-dry until completely dry. Even the smallest amount of moisture can damage the fill and cause uncomfortable clumping. It can also make the natural odor of feather and down more pronounced. That's why we recommend a professional wash and dry for pillows.
