Customer Reviews
Why is Egyptian Cotton better?
Egyptian Cotton is grown on the banks of the Nile, in Egypt. The combination of warm climate, fertile soil, good irrigation, and the strain of cotton creates extra-long cotton fibres that are woven into smoother, more durable fabrics. To be sure that you’re buying the genuine article, look out for accreditation from the Egyptian Cotton Association – you’ll find it on every piece of Egyptian Cotton bedding that you buy from Soak&Sleep.
How to wash Egyptian Cotton sheets
Egyptian Cotton bed linen may be luxurious, but it’s refreshingly simple to launder. Wash it in your washing machine, using an appropriate detergent. We recommend powder detergent for white bed linen and liquid detergent for coloured bed linen as these are better suited to these fabrics. Wash at 30˚C and line dry for best results. Find out more about caring for your Egyptian Cotton bed linen in our bed linen care guide.
