Make Mondays exciting again.

Kelj fel! That's "wake up!" in Hungarian in case you weren't sure. Well, you'll be springing out of your sack after sleeping under all that Hungarian goose down goodness - it's feels very light and is incredibly insulating. Generously filled with 90% down you'll be ready to take on the world after sleeping like a (Hungarian) baby.

Make Mondays exciting again.

Luxurious and healthy wraps filled with the most indulgent mix of Hungarian goose down goodness. Topping at a whooping 90% down with just the right amount of breathable feathers, all encased in a pure cotton casing, these duvets get down to business so you can be able to cope with whatever life throws at you during the day.

Build your all-year-round duvet

The weather outside isn't the same all year round, so why should your duvet be? Mix things up by pairing your duvet with another for chillier months and using alone when the mercury rises. Remember that the type of house you live in affects the type of duvet you need. Modern, energy-efficient homes tend to stay toasty all year round, so you may find you're comfortable with a low tog duvet no matter what the weather's doing. But if you're in an older or more draughty property then a higher tog duvet combination might be more suitable during winter months. The handy ""cufflink"" system on our duvets means you can mix and match between our duvets to create your personalised duvet combination. We're all different, so someone in your house may prefer a lighter tog duvet even if you prefer to wrap up in the warmest tog combination you can find. For this reason, you should match duvet tog to personal preference, keeping a careful eye out for children and the elderly who are less able to regulate their body temperatures and have more specific requirements. Lastly, if you share a bed, you'll probably find the extra body heat means you need a lower tog than someone who sleeps alone. This is especially important to remember if you co-sleep with young children, in which case use a low tog duvet to prevent them from overheating.

Features and Facts

  • Pocket Sprung
This mattress features two layers of pocket springs to create a very supportive mattress. Pocket sprung systems are built exactly as they sound, the individual springs are encased in a fabric envelope which allows each spring to respond to your body independently of one another.

  • Perfect bed partners
Pocket spring systems are ideal for partners who share a bed. They minimise disturbance as they prevent roll together. If one of you is a bit of a wriggler or an early riser we recommend a zip and link mattress. Zip and link are made of two individiual spring systems which means the individual units respond only to the body lying on them and movement is not felt accross the bed.

  • British Wool
The top of this mattress has a thick layer of British wool to help regulate your sleeping temperature no matter what the temperature's up to, whilst adding comfort. It's such a good temperature regulator that it adapts to two different body temperatures in the same bed. Wool is naturally hypoallergenic, making this mattress a great choice for allergy-sufferers.

  • British Made
This mattress is made in the UK and is NBF accredited. It also comes with a five-year guarantee. Read our care guide to get the best from your mattress and to ensure your guarantee remains valid through its lifetime.

The Look & Feel

  • Standard Depth

This mattress is 28cm deep. This mattress will make anyone smile, but it's especially well-suited to people who prefer to sleep on their back and sides.

  • Support Act

This mattress is available in two firmnesses. The medium-firm mattress feels softly supportive from head to toe and will help you keep your cool when the weather's warm and warm when its cold. The ortho-firm option mattress adds a firmer feel perfect for those with aches and pains.

  • You Smoothy!

Covered in naturally-derived, breathable viscose damask that works hard whilst you sleep. Not only is the tufted damask fabric strong enough to provide support and keep the pocket spring system in place, it provides a smooth and cool sleeping surface that complements the temperature-regulating properties of wool.

  • Made to Last

Tufting and a side stitched border help keep this mattress in good shape and add support to the structure and sides. The 16 side air vents help circulate air throughout the mattress for an even fresher start to your day.

The Look & Feel

  • Tailored to you
Cold feet? Not for you. Use the handy cufflink fastenings to pair this duvet with another to create your personalised all-season duvet. The choice of togs in this range gives you the flexibility to go from a 3.0 tog all the way up to an 18.0 tog duvet.
  • Luxurious
The 90% down content makes a lightweight, but very insulating, duvet thanks to the lofty down clusters it's filled with.
  • Breathable
Wrapped in a luxurious 280 thread count cotton casing for a lightweight and breathable finish.
  • Meticulous
To make the most of this premium goose down filling, the 3.0 and 4.5 tog contain their fill within stitched through boxes. The 9.0, 10.5 and 13.5 duvets are made with baffle walls to allow the down clusters to move and breathe. Both constructions result in an even profile across your bed.

Care

Your mattress will feel different according to the base it's placed on. Any bed base will work, so long as it is well-ventilated - your mattress needs to breathe for it to stay in good condition. Always choose the right size mattress for your bed base. Too small, and it will look strange, too large and you'll damage the mattress. Sagging or broken bed bases will damage your new mattress, we recommend buying a new bed base at the same time as your mattress. If you intend to use a slatted base, the slats should be no more than 7cms apart.

  • 1
    Welcome your new mattress
You may notice a slight odour when removing your mattress from its packaging, this is normal and will go away after couple of days. Your mattress may also have compressed slightly during the delivery process; leave your mattress to air and it will soon bounce back.
  • 2
    Turn things around
Your mattress will adapt to the weight and contours of your body; rotating AND turning your mattress from foot to end will keep the filling even and extend the life of your mattress. Rotating and turning a mattress is a two-person job, so get some help.
  • 3
    Settle down
After a few weeks of use, you might notice that the sleeping areas are wearing more quickly than the rest of the mattress. Don't panic! Mattresses with very soft, natural layers do naturally compress slightly and it's a sign of a high quality fill. You can minimise this settlement by regularly rotating your mattress and using a mattress topper.
  • 4
    Protect what's precious
Always, always, always use a mattress protector. It helps keep your mattress fresh and clean and extends the life of your mattress. We recommend using deep mattress protectors and fitted sheets with this mattress.
  • 5
    Spot on
If the worst happens and you spill on or mark your mattress, spot clean it with soapy water and a cloth. Allow it time to dry thoroughly before making up your bed again.
  • 6
    Pull back the covers
Keep things healthy by airing your bed each day. Half an hour or so while you're showering and getting dressed should do the trick. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner. Once a week you should air your bed for a few hours by turning back all bedding from the mattress to allow any moisture to evaporate.

What can you expect from our delivery service?

Furdeco will contact you to book in delivery time and will text you the day before the delivery to confirm the time slot.  On the day of delivery, they will call you when they are half an hour away so you have time to get prepared.

The folks at Furdeco are so nice that they will carry your mattress or furniture into whichever room you need it in... usually the bedroom. On rare occasions, Furdeco will not deliver to a specific room if they think it is unsafe to do so, or if there would be a risk of damaging your property.

Do you deliver to my address?

How does the 100-night trial work?

We want you to be delighted with your new Soak and Sleep mattress and we're so confident that we offer a 100 night trial with all new mattress purchases!

All we ask is that you sleep on your new mattress for a minimum of 30 days. If after this time, or up to 100 nights you decide it’s not the right one for you, you can return it with our free returns service.

Important: you must use a mattress protector as part of this trial. If you don’t have one, why not use our bestselling Luxury Cotton Protector? If you have not used a mattress protector or if the mattress is marked, misused or dirty we will not refund your purchase.

When does the trial start?

Your 100-night trial starts the day your mattress is delivered and received by you.

Do I need to keep the packaging?

It's not compulsory, but as we're all trying to do our part to reduce our use of plastic it would be appreciated if you're able to store it whilst you're trailing your mattress.
