There are two types of feather duvet - duck feather duvets and goose feather duvets. Neither is better than the other - if sourced ethically, they both provide excellent quality, breathable duvets. Duck feather and down duvets are typicallly puffy, full and pleasingly weighty. This makes them perfect for people who love feeling extra snug and tucked-up in bed. In comparison to a duck and feather down duvet, goose feather and down duvets are light and lofty. Goose down is famously insulative - the light weight of down means you will experience a wonderfully warm night's sleep with minimal extra weight.
Your feather duvet will last you for many years if you care for it well.
