Located in Yorkshire, all premium Harrison Spinks beds are handmade to order and tailored to each individual customer. Its dedicated workforce uses traditional skills that have been passed down for generations, with every part of the process overseen by a trained eye or a skilled hand. There’s no such thing as one mattress fits all at Harrison Spinks.
British Grown, British Made
Harrison Spinks mattresses don’t start life in a factory but on a vast 300-acre farm in North Yorkshire. Here the bed makers rear sheep on untreated pastures and tend fertile fields of hemp and flax crops, which produce super-absorbent fibres for their mattresses. Harrison Spinks is proud to have partnered with British Wool to ensure all wool used in its mattresses is from traceable British farms and is ethically sourced.

A Harrison Spinks mattress varies in depth, depending on which mattress it is. The Natural 3250 Pocket Spring Mattress and Natural 5750 Pocket Spring Mattress are 24cm in depth. This is a standard mattress depth and suitable for regular depth mattress protectors and fitted sheets. The Harrison Spinks Natural 8250 Pocket Spring Pillowtop Mattress is a 28cm deep thanks to the luxurious pillowtop layer, which adds even greater comfort. Despite the extra depth, this mattress is still suitable for regular depth mattress protectors and fitted sheets.
Harrison Spinks mattresses are made with the finest natural materials and contain pocket springs for exceptional comfort and durability. These high-quality materials can make your Harrison Spinks mattress heavy. Our mattresses vary in weight, depending on their size and the model. Single mattresses vary in weight from 24kg for the Handmade Naturals 3250, to 32.4kg for the Handmade Naturals 8250 mattress. As you'd expect, the Harrison Spinks emperor mattresses are heaviest, with the weightiest Harrison Spinks mattress - the Handmade Naturals 8250 - at 72kg.
