Importance of optimum support

The human neck curves slightly forward (to hold the weight of the head when upright), and it’s important to maintain this curve when in a resting position.
For optimum support choose a pillow that supports your sleeping position.

Is this the right pillow for me?

The secret to a more comfortable night's sleep is a pillow that correctly supports your head and spine, creating the optimal spinal alignment.

If your pillow tilts your head to an angle it will add unnecessary pressure to your neck. Choose a pillow that keeps your neck and spine in a horizontal line.

Your pillow should be the width of your shoulder to your neck to keep your head from being tipped up or down away from neutral alignment.

Deep Pillows of a Medium Firmness

Your pillow should fill the gap between your ear and your mattress to avoid bending your neck.

Alternative

Use two slimmer pillows to create your desired depth. A great option if you have broader shoulders, or you want to mix and match your fills

Support your legs

Putting a thin pillow between your legs can help align your spine, hips, and pelvis to reduce lower back pain

As a back sleeper, it is important to choose the right loft to support your head.

If your pillow is too flat, your head will tilt back and put pressure on your neck.

If your pillow is too thick, your head will be propped up too far forward.

Medium Firmness

A supportive pillow will hold your head and neck in place, rather than allow them to sink down into your mattress.

Medium-loft

Your head should not be tipped at an angle, a medium-loft pillow will maintain your spinal alignment.

Use a knee pillow

Using a knee pillow can provide support for your spine and lower body

It is difficult to maintain a neutral position when you sleep on your stomach. To ensure you have the best night's sleep choose a soft, flat pillow that doesn't tilt your head at an angle.

Stretch in the mornings to help get your body back in alignment and gently strengthen supporting muscles.

Super Soft

Choose a softer pillow that will easily cradle and support your head and neck

Low Loft

Use a thin pillow to prevent your head from being tipped out of spinal alignment.

Extra Support

Placing a thin pillow under your stomach or pelvis will help reduce pressure and prevent over extension of your neck
