Can you buy small double bedding?
Yes. Soak&Sleep offers small double bedding (suitable for beds which measure 120cm x 190cm / 4ft 0" x 6ft 3"). We also sell European specialist sized bedding which measures 140cm x 200cm / 4ft 7" x 6ft 6".
How do you wash double bedding?
Wash your double bed sheets regularly – at least once a fortnight. If you’re a hot sleeper or the weather’s especially warm, you may find you need to wash your bedsheets more often. Wash double bedding in the same way that you would wash other sized bed linen.
- Choose the best detergent for the product you are washing. Powder detergents are best for white bed linen and specialist liquid/gel detergents that are formulated for coloured fabrics are best for coloured bed linen.
- If you can, hang your bedlinen to dry. Drying it outside in the sunshine can help keep whites looking bright. It’s also better for the environment than using a tumble dryer.
- If you prefer to iron your double bedding, do so while it’s slightly damp. This will make it easier to remove creases for a pristine finish.

How to store bed linen?
Store your bedlinen once it’s completely dry. Neatly folded bed linen looks lovely, but if you’re tight on space, roll it up so you can fit more into your cupboard or drawer. Airing cupboards are a great choice for storing your double bedlinen, but if that’s not an option for you, then how about storing it in the relevant bedroom at the bottom of a wardrobe or in a chest of drawers so it’s easy to locate when you next change the sheets.
