Patterned Bedding FAQs

How do you wash patterned bed linen?

Wash patterned bedlinen in the same way as you’d wash other bedlinen. Use a liquid detergent if your patterned bedsheets are coloured, and powdered detergent if they’re white. We’d recommend you wash at 30˚C, unless your bedding is very dirty. Line drying your bedlinen is best – bring your bedding in while it’s slightly damp and you’ll find it easier to iron away any creases. Find out more about caring for your patterned bed linen in our bed linen care guide.

How can I style patterned bed linen?

Patterned bed linen looks impactful all by itself, so we would recommend adding some simple touches. A plain blanket or throw at the foot of the bed can add extra texture while making the bed look even more inviting. If you have two sets of pillows, you could consider using pillowcases in a complementary colour to highlight the pattern in your patterned bed sheets. For example, if you have a navy stripe in your bed linen, you could use navy blue pillowcases for extra impact.
