What are the measurements of a fitted sheet for single beds?

The standard measurement of a fitted sheet for single beds is 90cm x 190cm, or 36" x 75".

How do I choose the right fitted sheet for my bed?

The fitted sheet you need will depend on the size and depth of your mattress. A single mattress is 90cm x 190cm or 3ftx6ft3. A ‘standard’ single fitted sheet, usually 20-30cm deep, will fit an average mattress. A ‘deep’ single fitted sheet, usually around 40cm deep, will accommodate an extra-thick mattress or a mattress with a mattress topper. How often should I replace my fitted sheets?

It’s recommended to replace your sheets every 2-3 years and to wash them, at a minimum, every 7-10 days.

Choosing the right thread count for my fitted sheet?

Thread count defines the number of vertical and horizontal threads woven into one square inch of fabric. When it comes to choosing the correct thread count for your fitted sheet, the type of weave and fabric will make a huge difference. For example, if you want to buy an Egyptian Cotton sheet, we’d recommend a thread count of 300-400, but if you want a Percale Cotton sheet, we’d recommend a thread count of 200-400.
