Mineral Blue French Linen Bedding And Bed Sheets

Sleep more comfortably in our French linen bedding

French linen has superb temperature-regulating abilities making it a brilliant bed linen choice if you struggle with hot flushes or overheating at night. Its hollowfibre structure is stronger and more absorbent than cotton and helps to regulate your body temperature as you sleep. It will help you keep your cool during sultry summer nights and feel comforted and warm during colder months.

Pure French Linen

Made with pure French Linen, woven from flax grown in Normandy. The long staple lengths of this quality linen create an incredibly soft, textured fabric that just gets better with age.

A textural treat: why linen sheets feel different

Our French linen bedding is made with yarns that are ring-spun to make the fabric stronger yet wonderfully soft. The result is a long-lasting and beautiful textured bed linen that you'll be able to enjoy for years to come. We've also pre-washed and pre-shrunk this bed linen to minimise the risk of shrinkage.

Quality linen bedding tested for durability

Our linen bedding sets have gone through some serious testing with a special focus on colour fastness, durability and washability.

Luxuriously soft linen bedding

Linen feels indulgently textured and soft against your skin with a deliciously rich drape. It feels beautifully cooling when you first lie between your sheets but also helps you feel extra cosy in the winter.

Relaxed charm

Linen's rumpled charm is effortlessly appealing. The plain weave fabric is speckled with naturally occurring slubs in the fabric showing the beauty of this natural fibre; it's just the thing for a chilled-out bedroom.

Simply styled linen

We've kept things simple with this bed linen range so you can accessorise or leave it as it is. The duvet cover and Oxford pillowcases have 5cm borders. The fitted sheets are elasticated around the full edge of the sheet for a perfect fit.

Elegant finish

Our French Linen duvet covers are fastened with tie closures and the Ruffled duvet covers are fastened with buttons. Pillowcases have an envelope closure for a neat finish.

Pull back the covers

Pull back your duvet to air your bed while you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner.

Wash regularly

Keep your bed clean and fresh by changing and washing your bed linen regularly. Once a week is perfect. You can wash this bed linen at 40°C, although we'd recommend you wash it at 30°C for a greener way to stay clean.

Hang to dry

Do your bit for our planet and hang your bedding out dry, out of direct sunlight. It will dry best on an outside washing line. If time or space is tight, it can also be tumble-dried on a low setting. You'll have fewer creases to deal with if you remove your bed linen from the dryer while slightly damp and then either iron the remaining dampness away, or hang it to air dry.

French linen: no ironing necessary

The beauty of our French linen is that it comes into its own when left unironed for a stylishly crumpled look. If you prefer a slightly smarter look then iron whilst slightly damp.

Check your detergent

Always use the best detergent for the product you are washing. If you're washing white bed linen we'd recommend powdered detergents. If you're washing coloured bed linen, we'd recommend you use a washing gel/liquid or a detergent suitable for coloured fabrics.

Avoid detergents and stain removers containing optical brighteners

They create an optical illusion that changes the appearance of the colour. It's not just detergents that can affect your bed linen; some creams and face washes contain chemicals that will bleach your bed linen, such as benzoyl peroxide. Suncream and bronzers can also stain your bed sheets; having a shower before bed to remove skin products will help your bed linen stay looking good for longer.
