1000 Pocket Spring Zip & Link Mattresses

Pocket sprung

This mattress features 1000 pocket springs. Pocket sprung systems are made up of individual springs encased in a fabric 'pocket' which allows each spring to respond to your body and movements independently. This results in a more peaceful night's sleep for you and your partner with less chance of being disturbed by each others' movements.

No-turn technology

There's no need to turn this mattress, just rotate it regularly to keep it in good shape. The stitched handles help you position your mattress with ease. For further information, see our care guide below.

Thoughtfully constructed

This foam-free mattress is made with Platinum foam-free fillings and a knitted cover containing 35% recycled polyester. It is naturally fire-retardant without the use of additional chemical treatments.

British made

This mattress is made in the UK and is NBF accredited. It also comes with a five-year guarantee. Read our care guide to get the best from your mattress and to ensure your guarantee remains valid through its lifetime.

Two firmness options

1000 pocket springs make this mattress supportive and adaptive for full-body support. The medium option is perfect for side sleepers while the medium/firm option is good for people who sleep on their back.

This mattress is 33cm deep. We recommend deep protectors and sheets for this mattress.

Soft to the touch

We've covered this mattress with a knitted, 35% recycled polyester fabric that's free of chemical treatments for a smooth, comforting and healthy sleeping surface. The medium firmness option is quilted, while the medium/firm option is tufted to provide a firmer sleeping surface.

Your mattress will feel different according to the base it's
placed on. Any bed base will work, so long as it is well-ventilated - your
mattress needs to breathe for it to stay in good condition. Always choose the
right size mattress for your bed base. Too small, and it will look strange, too
large and you'll damage the mattress. Sagging or broken bed bases will damage
your new mattress, we recommend buying a new bed base at the same time as your
mattress. If you intend to use a slatted base, the slats should be no more than
7cm apart.

Welcome your new mattress

You may notice a slight odour when removing your mattress
from its packaging. This is normal and will go away after couple of days. Your
mattress may also have compressed slightly during the delivery process; leave
your mattress to air and it will quickly bounce back into shape.

Rotate regularly

Your mattress will adapt to the weight and contours of your
body; rotating your mattress from foot to end will keep the filling even and
extend the life of your mattress. Rotating a mattress is a two-person job, so
get some help.

Settlement is normal

After a few weeks of use, you might notice that the sleeping
areas are wearing more quickly than the rest of the mattress. Don't panic!
Mattresses with very soft, natural layers do naturally compress slightly and
it's a sign of a high quality fill. You can minimise this settlement by
regularly rotating your mattress and using a mattress topper.

Protect what's precious

Always use a mattress protector. It helps keep your mattress
fresh and clean and extends the life of your mattress.

Spot clean only

If you spill on or mark your mattress, spot clean it with
soapy water and a cloth. Allow it time to dry thoroughly before making up your
bed again.

Pull back the covers

Pull back your duvet to air your bed while you're getting
ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays
fresher and cleaner. Once a week you should air your bed for a few hours by
turning back all bedding from the mattress to allow any moisture to evaporate.
