Luxury Duvet Covers & Bedding Sets FAQs
Why use a duvet cover?
A duvet cover not only protects your duvet but helps you to customise the style of your bed. Wash it whenever you like, but we advise that you air your duvet at the same time. All of our duvet covers fasten with fabric ties or buttons.
How to put a bed sheet on a duvet
We’d recommend you start by choosing a duvet cover that matches your duvet size. There are lots of ways to put your duvet cover on your duvet, but the easiest way is to turn your duvet cover inside out, and then with your hands in the top two corners, grasp the corresponding top two corners of the duvet. You can then gently shake or pull your duvet cover over the duvet, finally fastening it securely. Find the perfect duvet cover for your duvet by checking our bed linen size guide.
What's included in Soak&Sleep duvet & bedding sets?
A Soak&Sleep duvet and bedding set includes different items depending on the set you are buying. All of our duvet sets include a duvet cover and two pillowcases; it’s an easy way to upgrade your bedroom with a fresh, new co-ordinated bed linen. In contrast, a Soak&Sleep bedding bundle set contains a duvet cover, two pillowcases and a fitted sheet. This makes them a convenient way to upgrade your bed with a new look and includes a small discount on the regular price.
How should I care for my duvet covers?
Your duvet covers will stay at their best if you wash them regularly. This keeps them fresh and clean and prevents allergens and bacteria from building up. Fabrics such as cotton are easy to care for, while others, such as silk, need specialist care which you can read about in our care guide. Once you’ve washed your duvet cover, we’d recommend you line-dry it. If you want to iron your duvet cover, you’ll get a crisper finish if you do so while it’s slightly damp. If you prefer not to iron, wait until your duvet cover is completely dry, then fold it and store it somewhere clean and dry, or put it straight back onto your duvet.
