Pull back the covers

Pull back your throw, together with your duvet or sheet, to air your bed while you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner.

Wash regularly

Keep things clean and fresh by washing your throw and cushions. Use it on top of a duvet or flat sheet and you should find that a wash once or twice a year is enough. You can machine-wash this throw and cushions on a cold wool-friendly cycle - if your machine doesn't have a wool setting, they can be handwashed. Not suitable for dry cleaning.

Hang to dry

Do your bit for our planet and dry your throw and cushions by hanging them out. They will dry best on an outside washing line away from direct sunlight. You can gently reshape this throw and cushions when they're slightly damp. Not suitable for tumble-drying.

No iron needed

Keep your iron in its cupboard; this throw and cushions are not suitable for ironing.

Check your detergent

Always use the best detergent for the product you are washing. We'd recommend you use a detergent designed specifically for woollens.

Extra careful

Never use biological detergent, bleaches, stain removers or optical brighteners as they will damage the wool. It's not just detergents that can affect your throw and cushions; some creams, sun creams and facewashes contain chemicals that will bleach your bedding, such as benzoyl peroxide. Make up and bronzers can also stain your throw and cushions; having a shower before bed to remove skin products will help your throw and cushions stay looking good for longer.
