Textured Velvet Bedspread

Indulgent cotton velvet

Pure cotton velvet has a rich and plush pile with a natural, subtle sheen that looks as indulgent as it feels. We've covered the reverse of this bedspread with pure cotton in a percale weave to help keep your bedspread in place and prevent slipping.

Specialist techniques

Velvet is made on a special loom that weaves two pieces of material at the same time - face-to-face. The fabric is then precisely cut apart which creates the rich pile effect and softness that we love it for.

Quality guaranteed

These bedspreads have gone through some serious testing. They're made and tested to EN standards with special focus on colour fastness, longevity and washability.

Luxurious warmth

You'll feel tucked up and incredibly snug when resting under this beautiful bedspread. The combination of rich cotton velvet and lofty recycled polyester fill means this bedspread feels weighty and warm.

Textural treat

We've quilted this bedspread with a gently meandering stitch and finished it with a neat border. The result is a contemporary bedspread & cushion covers with a stylishly irregular pattern, elevating a range of interior styles with its unique texture.

Versatile styling

Striking when styled with pure white bedding or layered with bedding and throws in complementary blue hues.

Pull back the covers

Keep things healthy by pulling back your bedspread, together with your duvet or sheet, to air your bed while you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner.

Wash regularly

Keep things clean and fresh by washing your bedspread. Use it in addition to a duvet or flat sheet and you should find that a wash every couple of months is enough. You can wash this bedspread at 40°C, although we'd recommend you wash them at 30°C for a greener way to stay clean. Use a large capacity machine or take your bedspread to be professionally cleaned.
This bedspread can be professionally dry-cleaned.

Hang to dry

Do your bit for our planet and dry your bedspread by hanging them to dry. They will dry best on an outside washing line away from direct sunlight. Line drying isn't only good for your bedspread, it's good for our planet too. You can however dry this bedspread in a tumble drier on a low heat if you prefer.

Iron if you like

Use a cool iron to gently remove creases from your bedspread.

Extra careful

Never use biological detergent, bleaches, stain removers or optical brighteners as they will damage the fabric and colour over time. It's not just detergents that can affect the fabric on your bedspread & cushion covers; some creams, suncreams and facewashes contain chemicals that will bleach your bedspread, such as benzoyl peroxide. Make up and bronzers can also stain your bedspread & cushion covers; having a shower before bed to remove skin products will help your bedspread & cushion covers stay looking good for longer.
