We've used bamboo for this protector's casing - a fabric with many different benefits. As a natural fibre, bamboo is breathable helping regulate your temperature as you sleep. It's highly absorbent and naturally antibacterial - both of which make it ideal to use in a mattress protector. Bamboo is also grown more sustainably than other fibres - it grows quickly, doesn't require fertiliser and self-regenerates, meaning less impact on our planet.

The bamboo is blended with recycled polyester, rescued from landfill, for extra durability and comfort.

Take it easy

Make life easier and buy two sets of protectors for each
bed. That way you can rotate between washes and keep your bedding in tip-top
condition.

Accidents happen

It's best to remove this protector from your duvet as soon
as you can after any spill or accident. The Teflon coating of this protector
works hard; if a volume of liquid is left on the surface of the protector over
a period of time it will eventually seep through the fabric.

Pull back the covers

Keep things healthy by airing your bed each day. Half an
hour or so while you're showering and getting dressed should do the trick. This
helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner.

Keep it clean

Your protector will work hardest for you if you wash it
regularly. We recommend every 3-4 weeks. You can wash these protectors at 40°C,
although we'd recommend you wash it at 30°C for a greener way to stay clean.
This protector is not suitable for dry cleaning.

Hang to dry

Do your bit for our planet and dry your protector by hanging
it to dry out of direct sunlight. It will dry best on an outside washing line.
If time or space is tight, this protector can also be tumble-dried on a low
heat.
