White 200 Thread Count Organic Cotton Bed Set

Cut carbon, capture carbon

Buying GOTS certified products means you know your purchase has been sourced from farmers who use natural farming methods. By excluding practices such as the use of manufactured nitrogen-based fertilisers, these farming methods reduce production of greenhouse gasses by 94% vs the production of regular cotton. What's more well-maintained farmland can act as a carbon sink, absorbing carbon from our atmosphere.

Better for everyone

Organic cotton production uses an incredible 91% less water than regular cotton. This helps stabilise the soil in which the cotton grows, making it more resistant to drought. This careful use of water means better availability for food crops and drinking water.

GOTS certified

This organic cotton bed linen is GOTS certified, meaning it meets recognised standards covering the processing of organic fibres throughout the supply chain. From raw materials through to manufacturing, the certification sets requirments that products must meet to carry the GOTS label.

Cool & fresh

This bed linen feels fresh, cool and light thanks to the way the 100% organic cotton is woven into a 200 thread count percale weave.

Quality you can see

Because it's been made with a percale weave, this organic cotton bed linen has a beautifully crisp drape. The cotton in this bed linen has a long staple length and has been combed for extra strength and smoothness.

Simply Styled

This organic cotton bed linen range has been kept beautifully simple, making it the perfect blank canvas. The duvet cover and Oxford pillow cases have 5cm borders. The fitted sheets are elasticated around the full edge of the sheet for a perfect fit.

Signature Ties

The duvet covers are fastened with tie closures so you don't need to worry about ironing around fiddly buttons. Pillow cases have an envelope closure for a neat finish.

Pull back the covers

Keep things healthy by pulling back your duvet to air your bed whilst you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner.

Wash regularly

Keep your bed clean and fresh by changing and washing your organic cotton bed linen regularly. Once a week is perfect. You can wash this bed linen at 40°C, although we'd recommend you wash it at 30°C for a greener way to stay clean.

Hang to dry

Do your bit for our planet and dry your bed linen by hanging it to dry out of direct sunlight. It will dry best on an outside washing line. If time or space is tight, it can also be tumble-dried. You'll have fewer creases to deal with it you remove your bed linen from the dryer while slightly damp and then hang it to air dry.

Iron if you like

Because this organic cotton bed linen is made with a lighter threadcount, you may find you can get away without ironing it after washing, especially if you take care to fold it carefully after drying it. If you'd prefer to iron it, then do so while it's slightly damp.

Check your detergent

Always use the best detergent for the product you are washing. As this bed linen is white, we'd recommend you use powdered detergents.

Avoid detergents and stain removers containing optical brighteners

They create an optical illusion that changes the appearance of the colour. It's not just detergents that can affect your bed linen; some creams and facewashes contain chemicals that will bleach your bed linen, such as benzoyl peroxide. Suncream and bronzers can also stain your bed sheets; having a shower before bed to remove skin products will help your bed linen stay looking good for longer.
