What size is a Superking mattress?
Superking mattress? Yes, please!
You'll spend a third of your life in bed (if you're lucky) so a good bed isn't a luxury. It's an essential! And a Superking size mattress is pure sleeping bliss. You deserve it.
Superking mattress is the biggest you can buy in most countries (we've got the Emperor, too). We've sized up some of our favourite mattresses for this mega-bed. Spend what you can: mattress quality makes such an enormous difference to your comfort.
Our bedding expert says: "Superking mattresses are certainly spacious. They measure 180cm x 200cm (5ft 10" x 6ft 6"). It's almost impossible to hog the bed!"

How much bigger is a super king mattress than a king size mattress?
A super king mattress measures 180cm x 200cm whereas a king size mattress is 150cm x 200cm. That means an extra 30cm of width in comparison to a king size bed. A super king size bed and mattress might sound like a luxury, but did you know it is the same width as two single beds pushed together? Once you know this, it's easy to understand why you and your sleeping partner might have struggled with the space in a double or king size bed, especially if either or both of you are tall, overheat at night, or move a lot when sleeping.
Is the super king mattress the largest mattress size in the UK?
A super king mattress is generously sized at 180cm x 200cm, but it's not the largest standard mattress size in the UK. That accolade belongs to the emperor mattress. An emperor mattress is a vast 200cm x 200cm, making it 30cm wider than a super king size bed and mattress. If you have the space for an emperor size bed, they're a great choice. You and your partner will have plenty of space to stretch out in and sleep peacefully, while also giving you the chance to snuggle up together before you sleep. If your bedroom isn't large enough for an emperor bed, a super king mattress and bed is a good alternative, giving you far more space than a king size mattress.
