These lovely soft towels are made with organic Turkish cotton that's 100% GOTS certified. The top quality cotton means these towels are wonderfully absorbent, soft and fluffy thanks to the mid-weight 500gsm that dries quickly after use.

Responsible water usage

Organic cotton production uses an incredible 91% less water than regular cotton. This helps stabilise the soil in which the cotton grows, making it more resistant to drought. This careful use of water means better availability for food crops and drinking water.#

GOTS certification means the use of hazardous toxic pesticides is tightly controlled which improves the environment, ecology and working conditions. And a careful approach to chemicals doesn't end there. Chemicals used in GOTS certified factories are biodegradable and non-toxic, resulting in a more positive ecological impact and healthier end-result.

The organic Turkish cotton feels indulgently soft thanks to the way it's been carefully washed after weaving. It's a real treat to dry off with after your bath or shower.

Midweight weave

This towel has been made with a terry weave at 550GSM. This means it's soft and warm while also being light enough to dry quickly.

Timeless styling

These towels are finished with a neat border and a double-stitched hem for added durability. They are available as hand towels, bath towels and bath sheets. You can also buy a bundle, perfect for updating all of your towels at once.

Wash regularly

It comes down to personal preference how frequently you wash your towels. We recommend every 5-7 days if you use them for a daily bath or shower. Hand towels in a busy household will need to be washed after one or two days use. Wash at 30°C for best results - modern detergents mean there's no need to use a higher temperature. It's also kinder to the environment.

Dry consciously

You can line dry or tumble dry this towel. Line drying your towel is a greener option, just give it a good shake out before you put it away to fluff up those lovely cotton fibres. If you choose to tumble dry then remove your towel from the dryer before it's completely dry to avoid a dried-out crispy feel.

Check your detergent

Always use the best detergent for the product you are washing. Use powdered detergent for white towels and bathmats and liquid detergent for coloured towels and bathmats. Never use fabric conditioner when washing towels. It coats the fibres and makes them less absorbent and more scratchy over time.

Avoid detergents and stain removers containing optical brighteners

They can create an optical illusion that changes the appearance of the colour that looks like a bleached mark.

It's not just detergents that can affect your towels

Some creams, suncream (especially day-long formulas), facewashes and even toothpastes contain chemicals that will bleach your towels, such as benzoyl peroxide. Make up and bronzers can also stain your towels; we'd recommend you avoid using pale coloured towels if you've used fake tan.
