Textured bed linen that needs no dressing up
If you're the kind of person who likes sand between your toes and salty wind in your hair, you'll love this bedlinen. Its chilled-out looks add a touch of beachy charm to any bedroom. And on a practical note, seersucker is a super summer bedtime companion with it's smooth cotton reverse - it's easy-peasy when it comes to wash-day - just, dry and go. Ironing? Who has time for that?
Features and Facts
Made with pure cotton for breathable bedlinen that will help you keep your cool when the weather gets hot. The cotton naturally draws moisture away from your body as you sleep, helping it evaporate for a more comfortable night's sleep and a fresher, more carefree start to your day.
The summery seersucker weave makes us think of days by the beach. It's created by weaving on a slack tension loom for wrinkled, raised stripes with flat-woven areas in-between for the variation in texture.
We rigorously test our bed linen to make sure it has what it takes to supercharge your sleep; we pay particular attention to colour fastness, longevity and washability.
The Look & Feel
The 200 thread count percale reverse and pillowcase surface feel cool and fresh against your skin.
Wrinkled, in a Good Way
Seersucker looks wrinkled, crinkled and wonderfully casual. The micro seersucker stripe on this bedlinen gives all-over texture for a timelessly tactile appearance.
You Call the Shots
The yarn-dyed navy stripe is perfect dressing up your bed and mixing with plainer bedding sets and throws. Perfect with plain white for a crisp, fresh look or opt for a more relaxed vibe by pairing with snuggly throws and bedspreads. The duvet cover and Oxford pillow cases have 5cm borders, and the flat sheets have a 10cm seersucker border on the top edge.
The duvets are fastened with buttons and the housewife pillow cases have an envelope closure for an neat finish.
Keep your bed clean and fresh by changing and washing your bedlinen regularly. Once a week should do the trick. You can wash this bedlinen at 40°C, although we'd recommend you wash it at 30°C for a greener way to stay clean.
Do your bit for our planet and dry your bedlinen by hanging it to dry out of direct sunlight. It will dry best on an outside washing line. If time or space is tight, this bedlinen can also be tumble-dried. You'll have fewer creases to deal with it you remove your bedlinen from the drier while slightly damp and then hang it to air dry.
Because this bedlinen is made with a special weave that absorbs creases you may find you can get away without ironing it after washing, especially if you take care to fold it carefully after drying it. If you'd prefer to iron it, then do so on the side with smooth fabric - not on the seersucker - to keep the texture looking beautifully raised.
They create an optical illusion that changes the appearance of the colour. It's not just detergents that can affect your bedlinen; some creams and facewashes contain chemicals that will bleach your bedlinen, such as benzoyl peroxide. Suncream and bronzers can also stain your bedsheets; having a shower before bed to remove skin products will help your bedlinen stay looking good for longer.
