The height of your pillow depends on your sleeping position and your physical frame. How long do pillows last?
A pillow will last for between one to five years depending on how it is made, what it is made with and how it is treated. After this time, the filling will flatten and will start to harbour unpleasant bugs and allergens which may affect your health. Synthetic pillows have the shortest life, while down-filled pillows last the longest. You can make your pillow last for longer by using a pillow protector and washing it occasionally.
