Customer Reviews
Is Egyptian Cotton worth it?
Egyptian Cotton comes from a specific strain of cotton that is grown in the very fertile and warm area around the Nile delta. It produces cotton fibres that are exceptionally long. If these fibres are combed, spun and woven with care, they produce a cotton fabric of outstanding quality. Quality Egyptian Cotton bed linen is not only soft and comfortable to sleep under, but it will also last for longer than bedding made from regular cotton.
How to care for Egyptian Cotton sheets
Although Egyptian Cotton sheets are one of the last words in luxury, they’re blissfully easy to care for. Wash them at 30˚C using a suitable detergent and then hang to dry – either outside or over a clothes horse. If you like to iron your Egyptian Cotton bed linen set, do so while the fabric is still slightly damp. This will make it easier to get a crisp, smooth finish.
