Customer Reviews
What is a good thread count for Egyptian Cotton sheets?
We sell a range of thread count options for our Egyptian Cotton fitted sheets. That’s because there’s no such thing as the ‘best’ thread count - it depends on you and your sleeping preferences. 200 thread count is our lightest thread count. It is fast to dry and easy to iron which means it’s a good choice for busy households. 400 thread count is one of our most popular options. It is denser and smoother to the touch than our 200 thread count bed linen. 600 thread count is a more luxurious choice as it feels even denser and smoother than our 400 thread count bed sheets. However, because it has more threads in each square inch, it takes longer to dry and iron.
Can Egyptian Cotton be tumble dried?
Yes, Egyptian Cotton bed sheets can be tumble dried. Taking them out of the drier while they are still slightly damp will make it easier to iron any creases away. Although you can tumble dry Egyptian Cotton bedding, we’d recommend that you dry it on a washing line or a clothes horse. This uses less energy and can result in fewer creases.
