Genuine Hungarian Goose Down
Our luxurious Hungarian Goose Down duvets are crafted by a family-run, manufacturer in Hungary, renowned for quality goose down with gloriously large clusters. Just scan the QR code on your duvet's label for more details about the manufacturer. What's more they take sustainability as seriously as their goose down, carrying a STeP accreditation for their manufacturing processes.
Pure & simple
The Goose Down in these Hungarian down duvets is washed in thermal water from an exclusive, certified spring. The 48° water opens up the loft of the down clusters more than if washed in cold water, which is typical of most down. The resulting fill power of 600-650cbi assures you of good quality down clusters that will recover well when cared for correctly which means high performance insulation to keep you warm at night.
Allergy friendly
Our Hungarian Goose Down duvets are a great choice for allergy sufferers. Because the Goose down is washed in naturally warm spring water, fewer chemicals are used. It is also considered super-clean or hypoallergenic due to excellent oxygen and turbidity ratings. What's more, this duvet is cased in Nomite certified fabric, ideal for sleepers that suffer from a house dust mite allergy.
Quality guaranteed
The high-quality filling in our Hungarian down duvets is made to Downpass and EDFA standards. Downpass is your guarantee of ethically sourced, traceable feather and down. This duvet has gone through some serious additional testing. It's made and tested to EN standards with special focus on the fill quality and down content.
Look & Feel
Find the perfect temperature
Use the cufflink fastenings to pair this duvet with another to create your personalised Hungarian Goose Down all-seasons duvet. The choice of togs in this range gives you the flexibility to go from a 3.0 tog all the way up to an 18.0 tog duvet.
Lightweight & warm
The 90% down content makes a lightweight, but very insulating duvet thanks to the lofty down clusters.
Pure cotton casing
Wrapped in a luxurious 280 thread count cotton casing for a lightweight and breathable finish.
Made to last
To make the most of this premium Hungarian goose down filling, the 3.0 and 4.5 tog contain their fill within stitched through boxes. The 9.0, 10.5 and 13.5 duvets are made with baffle walls to allow the down clusters to move and breathe. Both constructions result in an even profile across your bed.
Care
Not all duvets are created the same therefore, based in their inner and outer characteristics, they need to be cared for differently. Care properly for your duvet and it will recharge you for many years to come. Here is what you need to do in order to make the most out your Hungarian goose down duvet:
Pull back the covers to air your bed whilst you're getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner. It's especially important with feather and down fills as moisture can make their natural odour more pronounced.
Every 6-12 months will do the trick - why not clean your duvet with the change of season - then it's ready for when you next need it. This duvet is NOT suitable for dry cleaning and must only be machine-washed. Store your duvet somewhere dry and away from dust. The bag your duvet came in is perfect for the job, or you could use one of our specially-made storage bags instead.
Protect your duvet and tumble-dry until completely dry. Even the smallest amount of moisture can damage the fill and cause the precious down clusters to clump. Moisture can also make the natural odour of feather and down more pronounced. That's why we recommend a professional wash and dry for duvets.

Yes, our Hungarian Goose Down Duvets can be washed. To make sure you get the best results, we recommend the following: - Use a professional, large capacity machine, never wash your Hungarian down duvet in a domestic machine. - Do not dry clean your Hungarian Goose duvet, it is only suitable for machine washing. - Dry your Hungarian Goose Down duvet until bone dry. This may take several hours. Even the smallest amount of moisture can cause the precious down clusters to clump. Keep your Hungarian Goose Down Duvet at its best by using a duvet protector and duvet cover and by pulling back the covers every morning to allow any excess moisture to evaporate.
Is Hungarian Goose Down worth it?
Invest in a Hungarian Goose Down Duvet and you're getting so much more than a regular duvet. The Hungarian goose down clusters we use are extra large and super-insulative, creating exceptional warmth and cosyness with very little weight. The down and feather used in our Hungarian Goose Down duvets and pillows is washed in naturally warmed thermal spring waters at 48 degrees instead of harsh chemicals, helping retain its natural spring and loftiness. This also means the down clusters and feathers are considered super-clean or hypoallergenic, making this duvet range the perfect luxury choice for allergy sufferers.
Is Hungarian Goose Down ethical?
Animal welfare is at the forefront of our minds and we do not tolerate animal cruelty. The goose down we use in our Hungarian Goose Down duvets is a by-product of the meat industry, similar to leather. We will not work with suppliers who condone mistreatement of animals such as live plucking, force feeding or intensive rearing and will not buy feather down which has been produced in such a way. For further reassurance, our Hungarian Down duvets are certified by Downpass and the EDFA, giving you confidence that they have been ethically sourced.
What is the warmest duvet?
When choosing a duvet, the tog rating will tell you how warm it will be. A higher tog rating - such as 13.5 togs - will be warmer than a duvet with a lower tog rating - such as 4 togs. Different duvet fills behave differently and one of the most insulative duvet fills is goose down. Hungarian goose down clusters are light and lofty, capturing the warm air that rises from your body and holding onto it to keep you feeling extra cosy as you sleep. Because goose down is so light, it is often blended with goose feather for extra weight - just as with our Hungarian Goose Down duvet.
Allergy-friendly but not for specific feather and down allergy.
Please note, that duvets from different ranges cannot be attached using our cufflink system. To take advantage of the all-seasons features with your duvet, please buy within the same range.
