Cot Bed Duvets

Keep your little one sleeping soundly with a cot duvet. Suitable for babies over 12 months only, a cot duvet is smaller than a regular duvet, making them perfect for toddler-sized beds. A cot bed duvet won’t be the only thing your little sleepyhead needs. Which is why we also sell cot bed size protectors and cot bed size duvet and pillow sets.

What is a cot duvet?

A cot duvet (also known as a baby duvet or toddler duvet) is a smaller duvet that’s also very light. We sell 4.5 tog duvets for cot beds, which are optimal for keeping them comfortable while they sleep. Although that might seem light to an adult, babies’ and toddlers’ little bodies tend to retain more heat, so a lightweight cot bed duvet is perfect for them.

What size is a cotbed duvet?

A cot bed duvet measures 120cm x 150cm making them the ideal size for use with a cot or toddler bed. If your toddler is sleeping in a regular single bed, we’d recommend you use a low tog single duvet instead, which measures 135cm x 200cm. You can find out more about duvet sizes in our duvet size guide

How do I wash a cot duvet?

Cot duvets are small enough to wash at home in a regular washing machine. Unless the duvet is very soiled, washing at 30˚C should be enough to clean it thoroughly. Make sure the duvet is completely dry before using it again. Because babies and toddlers are prone to accidents, it may be a good idea to buy two cot bed duvets. That way you will have a spare duvet ready for nap time, even if you have to wash their normal duvet. Find out more about washing and drying duvets in our duvet care guide.
