Customer Reviews
Are bed sheets synthetics or cotton?
All Soak&Sleep bed sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are made with natural fibres, not synthetics. That’s because natural fibre bed sheets are breathable and more comfortable to sleep with. They also have less impact on the environment - at the end of their useful lives, fabrics made with natural fibres will decompose unlike synthetics which do not. We have a wide range of cotton bed linen, but also offer French Linen, Mulberry Silk, hemp and Tencel-blend bed linen. Find out more about choosing your bed linen in our bed linen buying guide.
How many bed sheets do I need?
Every bed needs at least one set of bed sheets and bed linen. That would typically be one sheet to cover your mattress, a duvet cover and enough pillow cases to cover each pillow on your bed. Some people also like to use a flat sheet underneath their duvet. Having just one set of bed linen is perfect if you are the kind of person who can wash, dry and – if you want to – iron your bed linen in one day. Because doing this is difficult for many people, we recommend that you invest in two sets of bed sheets and bed linen. This will mean you can have one set on your bed and the other set in the wash.
