Is linen good for night sweats?

Linen is a brilliant bed linen choice if you struggle with hot flushes, night sweats or overheating at night. Linen has fantastic temperature-regulating abilities, it’s more absorbent than cotton and helps to regulate your body temperature as you sleep. It will help you keep cool in the summer nights and feel warm during the colder months.

What duvets keep you cool?

Natural-filled duvets, such as wool and silk, are best for hot sleepers due to their temperature-regulating abilities. Natural duvets are breathable and will help keep you cool through warm summer nights.

Do cooling pillows work?

Yes - our Cooling Memory Foam pillow has a fine layer of specialist cooling gel which provides a sleeping surface that’s cool to the touch, for a more refreshing night's sleep.

Are cooling mattress toppers good for hot sleepers?

Cooling mattress toppers are great for those who like the support of memory foam but find it too hot. Our Cooling Memory Foam Mattress Topper will help keep you feeling fresh as you sleep. It feels cool to the touch as the top layer of the memory foam has been infused with a cooling gel.

How can I keep cool at night during menopause?

A useful place to start is to get the right bedding, this should be breathable and temperature-regulating, such as wool, linen, cotton and silk. Ensure your bedroom is cool, around 17˚C, and open your windows to allow the air to circulate, you can use a fan to help with this. Invest in cooling pillows, mattress toppers or even a cooling mattress for added comfort. Reduce your body temperature by having a cool shower or bath before bed, and wear nightwear made from light, breathable fabrics to help you stay at a comfortable temperature.
